Elvis is what awoke my Love of music. Performing Hound Dog at the age of 8 in front of an audience, backed up by a real band, made me realize early that music and performing are where I wanted to be.

Coming from a Portuguese family there was always music around me my entire life.

Being outside and surrounded by friends and loved ones is important, water, sun and the feeling of family all make my music stronger.

Growing up with a drummer as a father, I drove him nuts trying to follow in his footsteps trying to play the skins. At the age of 16 he bought me my first guitar. It was a Cortez acoustic, felt more like a piece of 2x4 with barb wire stretched across it. But hearing myself strum that first few chords brought something inside of me to life. A feeling and sensation that I pursue to this and every day.

Trying to find the means of self expression is the one thing that always kept me going.

My main influence is Steve Vai but there are so many others that have equally affected my playing and writing; Dimebag Darrel, Zakk Wylde, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Al Di Meola, John Petrucci just to name a few, have helped me grow and develop musically.

My love for sound allows me to enjoy all styles of music which I believe contributes to the variety of styles you will hear in my playing.

Power in rhythm and keeping time with my life is what drumming is to me.  My father is a drummer and music almost feels like family business to me.  I feel love of life when I am playing, there id just no other way to describe it.

My influences have always been from the heaviest players out there; Mike Portnoy, Vinnie Paul, Mike Mangini just to name a few, make me want to keep on playing as long as my arms and legs can!

My Greek background has helped me keep an open mind in music and I’ve been able to incorporate many ethnic beats, and rhythms into my playing. But there is nothing like playing loud and hard!!

I love playing the piano for as long as i can remember. When i was 5 i started going to a music and arts school. Having the chance to perform in front of audiences every year, i realized that it's something I loved to do!. I joined Blind Race in 2012 and right away i liked the style and direction of the band. I don't really have a particular style, i like to try different music styles. I would love to perform for a long time because even if I'm a very shy girl, it helps me to express myself.

As far back as i can remember, my parents use to listen to classic rock, so naturally I took a love for heavy, loud music. My father played guitar, and i always said to myself that as soon as i was big enough to hold a guitar i would learn how to play it.
When the grunge scene exploded, Nirvana, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains were the bands that called out to me most. I knew being a musician was exactly what i wanted to do. The older and more experienced i became, the louder and heavier i wanted to get. Bands such as Metallica, Pantera, Guns 'N' Roses, and Slayer, quickly became the main influences that refined my musical tastes. Holding down the rhythm section with the drummer Is something I have grown to love. It gave me a totally different perspective on music, and made me a much better musician because of it. Playing music is something i have always loved. It is an addiction that I have, and I will continue to feed that addiction until my days are done!
